RESOLUTION NO. 5094
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF PALO ALTO COMMENDING
GLEN W. SCV.OFIELD FOR OUTSTANDING AND CONSCIENTIOUS SERVICE AS A
MEMBER OF THE HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Glen Schofield has diligently and unselfishly contributed
of his time and talents while serving the City of Palo as a Human Re-
lations Commissioner from April 23, 1973 to May 31, 1975; and
WHEREAS, Glen Schofield served as Vice Chairperson of the Human
Relations Commission, from January 1, 1974 to May 31, 1975, assiating
in guiding the Commission in substantive and thoughtful efforts in
promoting e~~Gl opportunity i~ housing and employment and in developing
a capability for humar. servic .:!S planning; and
WHEREAS, Glen Schofield has made a significant personal contribution
to the community during his tenure as Commissioner in assisting in
developing farsighted programs and policy; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the outstanding
and meritorious service of Glen Schofield:
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby commends the outstanding and conscientious public service of
Glen Schofield and record1 its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citizen• of this community for the 1ervice and contribution ren-
dered during his term of off ice,
