RESOLUTION NO. 5069
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF
AN EASEMENT AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto to vacate a 15-foot wide sewer easement situate in the
City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
as described in EXHIBIT A and as set forth on a drawing entitled
"Easement Abandonment Ptn. of Rancho Rincon de San Francisquito,
File No. 207-1162-001," marked EXHIBIT B, both of which exhibits
are attachea hereto and by· reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. Monday, the .1..th day of Aoril 1 1975, at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamnere, City Hall, Pa!o Alto, California,
is set as th~ time and place of hearing where and when any person
having an interest in such proceedings may appear and be heard
aither for or again&t such vacation.
SECTION 3. All the proceedings for the vacation of said
easement shall be conducted pursuant to Title 5, Division l,
Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5 of the Government Code (commencing
with Section 50430 thereof) of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Engineer is directed to post notices
of this intent to vacate conapicuously along the easement to be
vacated as described in Section 1 hereof at least ten days before
the hearin9, posting them no more than 300 feet apart, but there
shall be at least th~ee notices posted. Such notic~s shall
state the passage of this Resolution of Intention, and the time
and place of the hearing.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk is directed to publish a copy
of this resolution in the ~ ~ Times once each week prior
to the date of hearing.

DESCRIPTION OF PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT TO BE VACATED
A strip of land 15 feet 0 inches in width. the centerline of
which is described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Southeasterly corner of
that certain 5.33 acre parcel of land shown as Parcel
Bon that certain Parcel Map, recorded July 8, 1969,
in Book 256 of Maps at Page 7, Records of Santa
Clara County, California, the said point also being a
point en the Northeasterly line of East Meadow Circle
(60 feet wide);
THENCE, N. 9° 26 123 11 E. 214.69 feet;
THENCE, S. 46°32 1 1311 E. 6.17 feet to the true point
of beginning;
THENCE, S. ~6°32 1 )311 E. 928.42 f~et;
THENCE, S. 39°57 104 11 E. 519 feet, n10re or less, to
a point on the Southwesterly line of Fabian Way;
BEING a portion of Rancho Rincon de San Francisquito.
