RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING RULE NO. 8 OF THE UTILITY RULES AND REGU-
LATIONS OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO TO DISCONTINUE
PROCEDURE RE PRORATION OF UTILITY BILLS TO COMPEN-
SATE FOR DIFFERENT MONTHLY METER READING DATES
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code, Rule No. 8 of the Rules and Regulations governing
utility services in the City of Palo Alto is amended to dis-
continue the procedure for proration of utility bills where the
monthly billing period is less than 27 days or more than 33 days
and to change the title of the location for the payment of bills.
Sheets 2la and 22a (replacing Sheets 21 and 22, respectively)
entitled "RULE AND REGULATION NO. 8, RENDERING AND PAYMENT OF
BILLS," constitute such amendment and are attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The foregoing change shall become effective on
January 27, 1975.
