RESOLUTION NO. 504 7
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF ~lOTICE AND APPROVING CIR-
CULATION OF PETITION FOR THE BARRON PARK ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, on ~ecember 31, 1974, there was filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Palo Alto a copy of a notice of
intention to ~irculate a petition for the annexation of in-
habited territory of the County of Santa Clara under the
Annexation Act of 1913, Government Code Sections 35100-35158,
and the notice was accompanied by an affidavit of publication
of the notice; and
WHEREAS, said Section 35113 provides that the City Council
may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt and approving the
circulation of such a petition within fifteen (15) days after
the f iling7 and
WHEREAS, said Section 35114 r~ovides that said petition
for annexation may not be circulated prior to receiving the·
consent of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does

SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
acknowledges receipt of aeid notice ai1d affidavit, a copy of
which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated
herein as though fully set forth.
SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
approves the circuJ.ation of a petition for the annexation of
that territory deaigr.ated as the "Barron Park Annexation."
