November , 19-74, did pas·s its Resolution· of -=I-n"'l't."""e .. n""'t-ii"""o-n- to vacate an easement over and across that certain parcel of land as described in Exhibit "A 11 and as set forth on a map entitled Exhibit 11B11 , both attached hereto and on file with the origj.nal of said Resolution No. so29_~n the Office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, p~rsuant to said resolution a pµl>lic hearinq .. w~s duly noticed ~n_d. !i.e.l_cl_ o_n_ J2ecepiber 16 f 19?_4; _and WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that said easement is unnecessary for present or prospective electrical utilities purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City_ of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The easement described and shown in Exhibits "A" and 11 B" attached hereto is hereby ordered vacated. SECTION 2. The Council finds that vacation.of this easement will have ti'OS'ignificant·cnvironmental impact. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County. I ~·''! .. ~ • ELECTRICAL UTILITIES EASEMENT PROPOSED TO BE VACATED The electrical utilities easement proposed to be vacated was recorded February 6, 1969, in Book 8427 at page 238, Official Records of Santa Clara County, California, as Document No. 3565322, said easement being property situated in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, a strip of land ten (10) feet in width lying equally on each side of the centerlines, which are described as follows: PARCEL l. Beginning at the intersection point of t~e south- westerly line of El Camino Real {120 feet wide) and the center line of Hansen Way {80 feet wide). Said point of intersection is marked by an iron rail road spike with cross mark; thence s. 33° 21' w. along said centerline 1526.28 feet; thence s. 41° 21' w. 59.90 feet to the ~rue Point of Beginning, said last-named point being on the southerly line of said Hansen Way; thence continuing s. 41° 21' w. 79.65 feet, to a point hereinafter referred to as Point A; thence s. 23° 41' w. 508.89 feet; thence s. 29° 49' W. 388 feet, more or less, to a point on the north- easterly curved line of Hanover Street (80 feet wide).
