RESOLUTION NO. 5031
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING A MISCELLANEOUS DIVISION-OF LAND FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2314 LOUIS ROAD IN THE CITY OF
PALO ALTO AND GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO REAR LOT AND
LOT DEPTH REQUIREMENTS, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
Pursuant to Title 21 of the Palo Al~o Municipal Code, the
Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby approves a miscellaneous
division of land located in the City of Palo Alto and commonly known
as 2414 Louis Road, as shown on the map attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference, subject to the conditions hereinafter
set forth.
1. That the applicant shall grant a public utilities easement
to the City of Palo Alto as reqpired by the Department
of Light and Power.
2. That the applicant shall provide evidence of property
tax payment.
3. That the applicant shall file a final parcel map in
accordance with Chapter 21.32 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code.
4. That the applicant shall transfer a corner section of
land measuring 2'7 feet by 50 feet, as shown on Exhibit C
as •staff's Suggested Alternate Plan, February s. 1972,•
from Lot B to Lot C in order to protect the walnut tree,
said reference to Exhibit c being only in connection
with the triangle of land being transferred from Lot B
to Lot C.
5. That the applicant shall provide a mutual access easement
for Parcels A, B and c.
The Council further fines that it is reasonable to permit the
creation of two rear lots upon said property and hereby grants
such exceptions to the rear lot and lot depth requirements of the
Palo Alto Municipal Code as are necessary for the enjoyment and
preservation of a substantial property right of the applicant which
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to other
property in the: area.
