A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 4993
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA OFFSTREET PARKING
PROJECT NO. 71·63
ORIGINAL
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, this Council did, on September 10, 1974, adopt its Reso-
lution of Intention No. 4993 to acqui_re and construct public improve-
ments in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on October 10, 1974, this Council adopted a resolution
appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to said
proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated
in the manner provided by law, as appears from the certificates on
file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time
therein fixed; a.~d
W"dEREAS, all written proteL,ts and other written communications
were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be
heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements
were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of
the lands within the assessment district, or or the area of the lands
within the assessment district assessed ror the costs and expenses of
said work.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby over-
ruled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a fUll, true and cor-
rect copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council
of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof held
on the 29th day of October , 1974, by the following vote --------
