RESOLUTION NO. 5007
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO-ALTO
ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATED
WHEREAS, this Council did on September 10, 1974, .adopt its
Resolution No. 4995 declaring weeds to be a nuisance..and-setting
October 7, 1974, at 7: 30 p.rn., in the City Hall as thee.time and
place for a hearing of objections to the proposed destruction or
removal of weeds; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No •.. 4995, notice
of such hearing was .given in the manner provided by .law,.. as
appears from the affidavits on file in the Office of the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said matter came on.regularly for hearing at the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS , · persons interested appeared-or .. f i let'L written ---
protest against said proceedings or any part.thereof .and-all.
persons desiring to be heard were given.an.opportuniqz-to be ..
heard, and all matters and .things .pertaining to :said-weec:Labate-
ment were fully heard and considered by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the.City of Palo· Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That protest against said w~ed abatement be,
and each of them is .hereby overruled.

SECTION 2. That the City 1 s authoriz.ed .representa.t.i.v.. . .ill .
hereby ordered to abate such nuisance or cause the_s.am.e-_.it:o-be
abated as provided in Chapter 8.08 of the Palo Alto .Muni.oipal.
Code and to do all other things necessary and authorized in
said Chapter.
