RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING ELLEN B. TURBOW AS A MEMBER OF THE RENTAL
HOUSING MEDIATION TASK FORCE FOR HER CONSCIENTIOUS AND
OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, Ellen B. Turbow has diligently and unselfishly contributed of her
time and talents while serving as a m~mber of the Rental Housing Mediation Task
Force from July 1, 1973 to August 31, 1974: and
WHEREAS, Ellen B. Turbow has wo-rked untiringly in mediating dispute_s between.
landlords and tenants and in other ~ctivities designed to improve the quality of
rental hous~ng in the community; and
WHEREAS, Ellen B. Turbow bas ma.de a significant personal contribution to

the comrn·.mity through her efforts in facilitating harmonious and fair rental housing
relationshit:--= among tenants, owners, and managers in Palo Alto: and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its appreciation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto
herP.by expresses its appreciation and con:nnends Ellen B. Turbow for her public
service as a member of·the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.
