RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO AJ~TO
COMMENDING SHIRLEY PEPPERS AS A MEMBER OF THE RENTAL
HOUSING MEDIATION TASK FORCE FOR HER CONSCIENTIOUS AND
OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, Sliirley Peppers has diligently and unselfishly contributed of her
time and talents while serving as a mt. mber of the Rental Housing Mediation Task
Force from July 1, 1973 to August 31, 1974; and
WHEREAS, Shirley Peppers has worked untiringly in mediating disputes_ between
: landlords and tenants and in other ~ctivities designed to improve the quality of
rental housing in the community; and
WHEREAS, Shirley Peppers has 1nade a significant personal contribution to the
communit~· through her efforts in facilitating harmonious and fair rental housing
relationships among tenants, owners, and managers in Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to ex.press its appreciation
to Shirley Peppers for her outstanding efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED tha.t the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends Shi~ley Peppers for her
public service as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.
