ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITIES
EASEMENT THROUGH A PORTION OF SECTION 15, T.7 S~,
M,D,B, & M, (1250-1260 MONTE BELLO ROAD)
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto to vacate a certain public utilities easement in the
City of· Palo Alto,· County of Santa Clara, State of California,
as· described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and shown on a map
marked EXHIBIT B attached hereto and by reference made a part
hereof 1 a:nd
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
find .that the aforesaid easement has not been used for the purpose
f-or which it was dedicated or acquired for five consecutive
years next preceding the date of this resolution1 and
WHEREAS; from all the· evidence submitted to the Council of
the City of Palo Alto, it is found that said easement as described
·herein is unnecessary for present or prospective public utilities
and ·drainage· ·purposes,
NOW, THEREFOREf the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE··as 'follows:
SECTTON l: · Pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443
of the Government C.ode of the State of California, the Council
of the City of Palo Alto does· hereby order that said easement
as described herein be, and hereby is, vacated:
SECTION 2·.,_' The· Council of the· City of Pa1.o Alto hereby finds
that ffit§· vacation· o'f·' easement will have no significant environ-
men ta·l impact.
~ECT~ON 3~ The City Clerk· shall cause a certified eopy
