CHARGES PERTAINING.TO ELECTRIC SERVICE RATES The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, Schedules E-1 (Domestic Electric Service} and E-2 (Commercial Electric Service) of the Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges are hereby amended to read as shown on Sheets !Ole, 102c, 103c, and 104a, attached hereto and incorporated herein. SECTION 2. The foregoing change shall become effective April 8, 1974. This schedule applies to all three-phase electric service. TERRITORY: RATE: Within the incorporated limits of the City of Palo Alto and land owned or leased by the City. The maximum demand in any month will be the maximum average power in kilowatts taken during any 15-minute interval in the month provided that in case the load is intermittent or subject to violent fluctuations, the City may use a 5-minute interval. A ther111al-type demand meter which does not reset after a d~finite time interval may be used at the City's option. Primary Voltage Discount: When delivery hereunder is made at the same voltage as that of the line from which the service is supplied~ a discount of four percent for 11 kv or higher available line voltages and three percen~ for available line voltages of from 2 kv to 10 kv will be allowed provided the City is not required to supply service at a particular line voltage where it has, or will install. ample facilities for supplying at another voltage equally or better suited to the customer's electri- cal requ~rew.ents.
