"COMMENDING THE CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE OF BILL THOMPSON

tributed of.his time and talents while serving the City of Palo
Alto as a member of the Child Care Task Force from November
20, 1972, to Nb~embtlr 26; 1973; and
WHEREAS, BILL' THOMPSON has made a significant·personal-· -· · · ··
contribution to the community by assisting in the formulation
of farsighted, substantive programs and policy relating to the
subject of child care; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
conscientious and meritorious service of BILL THOMPSONf
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.that the council of the·
City of Palo· Alto hereby commends the outstanding and conscientious-
public service of BILL THOMPSON· and records its appreciation··-
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for the service and contribution rendered during his term of
office.
