RESOLUTION NO. 4913 -
RESOLUTION OF THE COU?lCIL OF 'l'HE CITY OF PALO ALTO .
COMMENDING THE CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE OF MARJORIE CARMEL
WHEREAS, MARJORIE CARMEL has diligently and unselfishly
contributed of her time and talents while serving the City
of Palo Alto as a member of the Child Care Task Force from
November 20, J 972, to November 26, J 973;_ and
WHEREAS, MARJORIE CARMEL has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by assisting in the formulation
of farsighted, substantive programs and policy relating to
the subject of child care; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
conscientious and meritorious service of MARJORIE CARMEL:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding and conscientious
public service of MARJORIE CARMEL and records its appreciation
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for the service and contribution rendered duxing her tenn of
ot~ice.. / .
