RESOLUTION NO. 4909 -
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING THE CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE OF VIRGINIA DEBS
WHEREAS, VIRGINIA DEBS has diligently and unselfishly
contributed of her time and talents while serving the City
of Palo Alto as Coordinator and as a member of the Child care
Task Force from November 20, 1972, to November 26, 1973; and
WHEREAS, VIRGINIA DEBS has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by assisting in the formulation
of farsighted, substantive programs and policy relating to
the subject of child care~ and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize
the conscientious and meritorious service of VIRGINIA DEBS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding and conscientious
public service of VIRGINIA DEBS and records its appreciation
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for the service and contribution rendered during her term
of off ice.
