RESOLUTION NO. 4899
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE TO THOMAS O. PASSELL
WHEREAS, THOMAS O. PASSELL served the City of Palo
Alto as a member of the Citizens• Advisory Conunittee on
Cable Television since December, 1971; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of THOMAS O. PASSELL and
the Citizens• Advisory Committee on Cable Television a
significant report on cable television and its future
impact on the City of Palo Alto was completed; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS O. PASSELL has made a significant
personal contribution to the conununity by participating
in the development of the report on cable television;
and
WHER.EAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize
the services of THOMAS O. PASSELL;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreci-
ation, as well as the appreciation of the citizens of
this community, for the outstanding public service rendered
by THOMAS O. PASSF.LL.
