RESOLUTION NO. 4898
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE TO EDWIN B. PARKER
WHEREAS, EDWIN B. PARKER served the City of Palo
Alto as a member of the Citizens' Advisory Committee on
Cable Television since December, 1971; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of EDWIN B. PARKER and
the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Cable Television a
significant report on cable television and its future
impact on the City of Palo Alto was completed; and
WHEREAS, EDWIN B. PARKER has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by participating in the development
of the report on cable television; and
WHE~EAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize
the services of EDWIN B. ~ARKER;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreci-
ation, as well as the appreciation of the citizens of
this community, for the outstqnding public service rendered
by EDWIN B. PARKE~.
