RESOLUTION NO. 4896
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE TO JOSHUA LEDERBERG
WHEREAS, JOSHUA LEDERBERG served the City of Palo
Alto as a member of the Citizens' Advisory Conunittee on
Cable Television since December, 1971; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of JOSHUA LEDERBERG and
the Citizens' Advisory conunittee on Cable Television a
significant report on cable television and its future impact
on the City of Palo Alto was completed; and
WHEREAS, JOSHUA LEDERBERG has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by participating in the
development of the report on cable television; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize
the services of JOSHUA LEDERBERG;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully recorqs its appreci-
ation, as well as the appreciation cf the citizens o~
this conununity, for the outstanding public service rendered
by JOSHUA LEDERBERG.
