RESOLUTION NO. 4886
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
TERMINATlNG THE RESERVATION ON THE ONE-FOOT RESERVE
IN TRACT NO. 303, IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION
NO. 3840
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3840, dated August 9, 1965, the
City of Palo Alto did approve the final map of Tract No. 3031,
being a subdivision of portions of Lots 16 and 17 of the Maybell
Tract, recorded in Book "K" of Maps at Pages 88 and 89, Santa
Clara County Records1 and
WHEREAS, said map was recorded in Book 207 of Maps at Page
50 in the office of County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara,
State of California, on April 6, 1966: and
WHEREAS, in said resolution the council did accept for public
use, but did reserve exclusively for owners of lots within the
subdivision, that certain strip of land along Cherry Oaks Place
one foot in width, designed as "l Ft. Reserve" and indicated by
a dashed line, until such time as this reservation shall be
terminated by the Council1 and
WHEREAS, the final subdivision map for Tract Noo 5513, being
a portion of Lot 17 of the Maybell Tract, was approved by the
Council this day; and
WHEREAS, the termination of said reservation on the one-foot
reserve of Tract No. 3031 is desirable in order that the owners
of lots in Tract No. 5513 have access onto Cherry Oaks Place1
NOW, THEREFORE, the council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby does
terminate the reservation to owners of lots within said Tract
No. 3031 of exclusive use of that certain strip of land one foot

in width, designated as "l Ft. Reserve" and indicated by a dashed
line, as shown on said final map of said Tract No. 3031 and as
reserved in said Resolution No. 3031 and acknowledged in the
·owner's Certificate on said final map of Tract No. 3031.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that this action will
have no significant effect on the environment.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk hereby is directed to record this
termination of said reservation with the County of Santa Clara.
