RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO GEORGE HOOD, JR. UPON HIS
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, GEORGE ROOD, JR. retired on February 1, 1974 as Supervisor
of Fark Maintenance after thirty-eight years of continuous service with thli
City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his '.'Ork performance and
appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED th.at the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citizens of this community for faithful service rendered to the City
·, and extends to George Hood, Jr • its sine.ere best wishes for a long and happy
retirement.
