RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CIT'Y OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING THE CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SER VlCE OF DR. JOHN H. ZENGER
'.VHEREAS, DR. JOHN H. ZENGER has diligently and unselfishly contributed
of his time and talents while serving the City of Palo Alto as a Human Relations
Commissioner from Novembcl' 6, 1967 to Decembel:' 3i, 1973; and
WHEREAS, DR. JOHN H. ZENGER seTved as Chairman of the Human Relations
Council and, after its reorganization, of the Human Relations Com.mission, from
March 21,. 1968 to February 12, 1972, &~iding the organizations in their efforts in
promoting equal opportunity in housing and employinent and in fostering improved
community relations; and
WHEREAS, DR. JOHN H. ZENGER has made a significant personal contri-
bution to the community during his tenure as Chairman and Commissioner in
assisting in developing farsighted, substantive programs and policy; and
WHEREA8, the City of Palo Alto de sires to recognize the outstanding and
meritorious Rervice of DR. JOHN H. ZENGER;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Counc-l of the City of Palo
Alto hereby commends t;ie outstanding and conscientious public service of
DR. JOHN H. ZENGER and records its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citizens of this community for the ~ervice and contribution rendered during
his term of office.
