Special Meeting
May 27, 1997
The City Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date in the
Council Chambers at 6:09 p.m.
PRESENT: Andersen (arrived at 6:10 p.m.), Eakins, Huber, Kniss
(arrived at 6:15 p.m.), McCown, Rosenbaum,
Schneider, Wheeler
ABSENT: Fazzino
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
None.
CLOSED SESSIONS
1. Conference with Labor Negotiator
Agency Negotiator: City Manager and her designees pursuant to
the Merit System Rules and Regulations (Jay Rounds, Randy
Rafoth, Judy Jewell, Linda Craig)
Represented Employee Organization: International Association
of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Local 1319
Agency Negotiator: City Manager and her designees pursuant to
the Merit System Rules and Regulations (Jay Rounds)
Represented Employee Organization: Service Employees Interna-
tional Union, Local 715 (SEIU)
Authority: Government Code section 54957.6
The City Council met in Closed Session to discuss matters involving
labor negotiations as described in Agenda Item No. 1.
Mayor Huber announced that no action was taken on Agenda Item No.
1.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
