Study Session re Discussion and Direction on Personnel Evaluation Procedures and Compensation Policies for Council Appointed Officers Synopsis of Study Session re Discussion and Direction on Personnel Evaluation Procedures and Compensation Policies for Council Appointed Officers The Council, the Council-Appointed Officers (CA0s), and the consultant met in a study session to develop the policy framework
for the CAOs= performance appraisal and compensation system. The key issues addressed were: 1. Should the pay system for appointed staff be linked to the evaluation of their performance? 2. Does the Council want to have a formalized evaluation procedure for evaluating the appointed staff? 3. The issue of contracts. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None.
