RESOlUTION Of THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO JOSEPH HUBER FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING C(ltMISSION
WHEREAS, Joseph Huber has served the City of Palo Alto as a ..-ber of
the Planning C~i$sion fro. August 26, 1987 to Deca.ber 31, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Huber hiS been In act1ve.amber of the Planning .
Ca..1ssion by serving as Chain.an fra. August 14, 1991 to DeceMber 31, 1991,
as Vice-Cha1r.an f~ August 8, 1990 to August 14, 1991, and as I ..-ber of
various subca..ittees; and
WHEREAS. Joseph Huber has unselfishly contributed his knowledge and
experience to Ca..1ss10n deliberations and has aSSisted the Ca.aission in
articulating its positions on the aany planning issues it considers; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Huber's significant personal contributions have been
.. de in the interest of teaMWOrk and consensus building while guiding the
development of the ComMUnity; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and thank Joseph.
Huber for his persenal pride in the community and his significant personal
efforts and endless hours of devotion as a member of the Planning Ca..1s510n,
including hours spent in consideration of the R-l Single FaMily Zoning
regulatiDns, the Multiple-Family Zoning regulatiu»s~ the Citywide land Use and
Transportation Study, the Downtown Urban DeSign Plan, the P~'o Alt.o Medical
Foundation Expanston Plan, and the Housing Element update, and .any
applications for zone changes, subdivisions, parcel ma~s, site and design
reviews, and environmental impact reports! and: nn ~casie~t &ppeals fro. the
actions of the Zoning Administrator;
NOW, THEREFORE 1 lET IT 8E RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere appreciation and the
appreciation of the cOImUn1ty to Joseph Huber for his faithful and excellent
service rendered to the tity.
