RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MARCUS WOOD
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Marcus Wood has been a member of the Palo Alto
Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since 1992; and
WHEREAS, Marcus Wood was the early Treasurer of the Board
and instrumental in setting up the financial recordkeeping system;
and
WHEREAS, Marcus Wood was a member of the Finance
Committee, whose astute budget analyses were essential to the
financial well being of the Centennial; and
WHEREAS, Marcus Wood was an active volunteer in the
Moonlight Run; and
WHEREAS, Marcus Wood was a member of the Audit Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends thanks and
grateful appreciation to Marcus wood for his lengthy and loyal
volunteer service for his part in making Palo Alto's Centennial
Year a smashing success.
