RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO BILL WATERS
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Bill Waters has been one of the early members of
the Palo Alto Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since 1989; and
WHEREAS, Bill Waters participated with unflagging loyalty
and commitment; and
WHEREAS, Bill Waters was an active volunteer in
developing the Centennial product line, which produced more than
$45,000 for the Centennial Endowment Fund; and
WHEREAS, Bill Waters was a member of Small Business
Outreach, which attracted more than 80 small business contributions
to the Centennial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends thanks and
grateful appreciation to Bill Waters for his lengthy and loyal
volunteer service for his part in making Palo Alto's Centennial
Year a smashing success.
