RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DAVID VON KOHORN
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS.
PALO ALTO 1994 CENTENNIAL WALL SIGNMAKER EXTRAORDINAIRE
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn of Von Kohorn & Kitzmiller is
a Signmaker Extraordinaire; and
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn's creative, imaginative, and
patient spirit oversaw the production of the artistically striking
Centennial Wall; and
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn was the interpreter of the "On
The Wall Gang's" ethereal, nebulous, and ever-changing design
specifications; and
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn achieved the impossible by
bringing the wall in on time and on budget thanks to his generous
pro bono; and
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn produced the "perfect"
representation with only the tiniest of flaws, thereby appeasing
the wrath of the gods, who would have been angry had all not been
perfect; and
WHEREAS, David Von Kohorn would do the Wall again because
he "likes drama in his life."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends special
thanks to David Von Kohorn and his firm for their creative
excellence, generosity,and outstanding cooperation.
