RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO SUSAN SWEENEY
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Susan Sweeney has been an original member of the
Palo Alto Centennial 1994 Board of Directors and President of the
Board early on; and
WHEREAS, Susan Sweeney has been a member of the
Executive, Personnel, and Nominating Committees; and
WHEREAS, Susan Sweeney has been a faithful participant,
whose perseverance helped bring the Centennial to its successful
year of celebrations; and
WHEREAS, Susan Sweeney was an active volunteer for The
Centennial Premiere Opening Night; and
WHEREAS, Susan Sweeney provided fund-raising and generous
contributions to all Centennial events and projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Susan Sweeney
for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service in making Palo Alto's
Centennial Year a smashing success.
