RESOLUTION -OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DAWN MILLER
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Dawn Miller has been a member of the Palo Alto
Centennial 1994 Board of Directors during 1993 and part of 1994;
and
WHEREAS, Dawn Miller brought an important business
connection to the Centennial through her Chamber of Commerce
membership and later her presidency of the Chamber; and
WHEREAS, Dawn Miller participated on the Financial
Committee, keeping the finances of the Centennial in order; and
WHEREAS, Dawn Miller generously contributed all the
bookkeeping and tax preparation for the Centennial through her
firm, Miller & Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Dawn Miller
for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service and for her part in
making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
