RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO LIZA KNISS
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Liza Kniss has been a member of the Palo Alto
Centennial 1994 Board of Directors representing the 21st Century
Committee and the younger members of the community since 1993; and
WHEREAS, Liza Kniss was in the forefront of volunteer
leadership for the 21st Century projects, including the Closing
Ceremonies and Volunteer Recognition Party; and
WHEREAS, Liza Kniss was a participant in the community
outreach to involve young adults in all Centennial events.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Liza Kniss
for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service and for her part in
making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
