RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO LARRY KLEIN
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Larry Klein is a former Council Member and Mayor
of the great City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein has been a member and Chair of the
Palo Alto Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since January 1993;
and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein has inspired the Centennial with
leadership for a spectacularly successful year; and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein has brought in diverse
representation from the community to ensure its multiple voices
were heard; and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein collaborated with the City to ensure
a dynamic partnership; and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein has been an advocate and leading
speaker for the Centennial's ideals and goals; and
WHEREAS, Larry Klein has been counsel and advisor on all
legal matters to the Centennial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Larry Klein
for his superlative and outstanding volunteer service and for his
part in making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
