RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO HOLLY KASLEWICZ
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994
WRITER, ORGANIZER, AND PUBLIC RELATIONS SUPPORT PERSON
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz is an accomplished writer,
organizer, and public relations support person; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz is co -creator of Grass Roots
Productions; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz was both volunteer and
professional worker all during the full Centennial year; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz was Co -Producer of Centennial
Opening Day, October 10, 1993, which set the tone for emphasis on
area nonprofits and their services to the community, along with
having fun in the process; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz was a co -creator of the 21st
Century Committee and an active participant, recorder, and
supporter of that group; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz organized and oversaw two highly
successful Nonprofit Showcases, highlighting more than 150
Midpeninsula nonprofit agencies; and
WHEREAS, Holly Kaslewicz fulfilled a variety of tasks for
the Centennial Board and staff with good humor, consistency, and
professionalism.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Holly
Kaslewicz for her superlative professional support, much pro bono
work, and creativity.
