RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO GINGER JOHNSON
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Ginger Johnson has been one of the early members
of the Palo Alto Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since 1988; and
WHEREAS, Ginger Johnson was a member of the Fund-raising
Committee whose work brought a $525,000 endowment fund to the
community; and
WHEREAS, Ginger Johnson was a generous donor and
supporter of Centennial events and activities early on; and
WHEREAS, Ginger Johnson has been an outstanding community
volunteer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Ginger
Johnson for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service and for her
part in making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
