RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO GLORIA HOM
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Gloria Hom has been a member of the Palo Alto
Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since 1992; and
WHEREAS, Gloria Hom is a well-known community activist
and educator; and
WHEREAS, Gloria Hom participated in the Moonlight Run and
multiple other Centennial sanctioned events; and
WHEREAS, Gloria Hom has been liaison with the broader
community; and
WHEREAS, Gloria Hom has been a valued participant in
Centennial volunteer work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Gloria Hom
for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service and for her part in
making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
