RESOLUTION OF -THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DIANA DIAMOND
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO CENTENNIAL 1994 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Diana Diamond has been one of the earlymembers
of the Palo Alto Centennial 1994 Board of Directors since 1991; and
WHEREAS, Diana Diamond was Secretary to the Board,
producing an accurate record of the Centennial Executive Committee
and Board meetings; and
WHEREAS, Diana Diamond was Co -Chair of the Time Capsule
Committee soliciting over 210 unique and interesting items for the
four time capsules; and
WHEREAS, Diana Diamond was a member of the Executive
Committee, Public Relations Committee, and other committees
bringing in a wide variety of community participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Diana Diamond
for her lengthy and loyal volunteer service and for her part in
making Palo Alto's Centennial Year a smashing success.
