RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO -JACK SUTORIUS.
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Jack Sutorius served the City of Palo Alto as a
member of the Utilities Advisory Commission from June 1992 to June
1994; and
WHEREAS, Jack Sutorius provided expertise and leadership
from his professional background, as well as his personal insight,
to the Commission; and
WHEREAS, through his efforts in filling a position
vacated by another Commissioner, the transition was smooth and the
work of the Commission continued without any interruption to the
City or the community; and
WHEREAS, Jack Sutorius served as the Utilities Advisory
Commission representative to the Comprehensive Plan Advisory
Committee andin this capacity provided valuable input to the
Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and kept the Utilities
Advisory Commission updated on this community process; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and
thank Jack Sutorius for his personal commitment to the community
and interest in the City of Palo Alto and for his personal efforts
and dedication as a member of the Utilities Advisory Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the gratitude of the community to Jack Sutorius
for his faithful and excellent service rendered to the City.
