RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO JOHN A. BUSTERUD
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE BLUE RIBBON TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, John A. Busterud has willingly and generously
served the City of Palo Alto as an active member of the Blue Ribbon
Task Force since April 1992; and
WHEREAS, John A. Busterud has unselfishly assisted the
Finance Committee in defining the scope of the comprehensive review
of the City's organization, has participated in the selection of a
professional consultant to perform the review, and has assisted in the
discussion and examination of the consultant's recommendations to the
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and
thank John A. Busterud for his personal commitment and pride in the
community and his significant personal efforts and long-term
dedication as a member of the Blue Ribbon Task Force.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the. City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to John A. Busterud
for his faithful and excellent service rendered to the City.
