RESOLUTION OF TH8 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ESTABLISHING THREE CROSSWALKS BETWEEN
INTERSECTIONS ON WELCH ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to Vehicle Code section 21106, the
legislative body of a city or county, by ordinance or resolution,
may establish crosswalks between intersections; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to approve the establishment
of pedestrian crosswalks in three locations along Welch Road,
between the Quarry Road and Pasteur Drive intersections, as shown
on Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council hereby establishes pedestrian
crosswalks in three locations along Welch Road, between the Quarry
Road and Pasteur. Drive intersections, as more specifically shown on
Exhibit 1.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this project constitutes
a minor alteration to land and as such is categorically exempt from
the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA"), pursuant Section 15304 of the CEQA Guidelines.
