RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO SHIRLEY WILSON
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE URBAN DESIGN COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson has served the City of Palo Alto as an
active member of the Downtown Urban Design Committee as its
chairperson; and
WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson has unselfishly contributed her design
knowledge, offered her understanding and expertise on downtown Palo
Alto issues, shared her optimism on the opportunities for downtown
Palo Alto, and provided expertise in guiding the development of
downtown Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and thank
Shirley Wilson for her personal commitment and pride in the
community and her significant personal efforts and long-term
dedication as a member of the Urban Design Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Shirley
Wilson for her faithful and excellent service rendered to the City.
