RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING CHANGES TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN
PARKING LOTS P & R IN DOWNTOWN PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, on October 25, 1993, the City Council agreed to
make parking restriction changes to Parking Lots P & R; and
WHEREAS, the changes include converting 55 permit spaces to
55 two-hour spaces in Lot P and converting 74 two-hour spaces to 36
two-hour spaces and 38 permit spaces in Lot R; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Palo Alto Municipal Code section
10.44.01.0, City Council shall by ordinance or resolution establish
parking restrictions as may be necessary.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
does hereby RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council hereby establishes the following
restricrlon4 cn Parking Lots P and R:
1. Lot P: all parking spaces in Lot P shall be two-
hour :Laces, as shorn on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. Lot R: 36 parking spaces in Lot R shall be two-hour
spaces, and 38 parking spaces shall be permit spaces, as shown on
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. The Council finds that parking restriction
changes are categorically exempt under the California Environmental
Quality Act and no environmental assessment is necessary.
