RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
REGARDING BANKAMERICARD PURCHASING ACCOUNTS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Palo Alto, a chartered municipal
corporation of the State of California ("Public Agency"), is.
authorized to obtain BankAmericard MasterCard Purchasing Cards
("Cards") from Bank America NT&SA ("Bank") and be a party to the
BankAmericard Purchasing Card Agreement ("Agreement") applicable to
the Cards issued. The word "Company" wherever used in that
Agreement will be interpreted as applying to Public Agency.
SECTION 2. Any of the following officials of Public
Agency, acting alone, is authorized: to sign the Agreement on
behalf of Public Agency, to apply to Bank for issuance of Cards, to
designate the persons authorized to use Cards, and to sign any
other documents on behalf of Public Agency concerning the Cards.
The authority granted will apply to the successors in office of the
named officials.

SECTION 3. Bank may rely upon this resolution until Public
Agency delivers written notice of its revocation to Bank. Bank
will treat receipt of notice of revocation as notice of termination
of the Agreement.

SEQTION 4. This action does not constitute a project for
the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act.
