RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO SUE SUCHER
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Sue Sucher served the City of Palo Alto as a
member of the Human Relations Commission from April 1992 to March
1995; and
WHEREAS, Sue Sucher provided expertise and leadership
from her personal experience with children with disabilities by
serving with distinction as the Commission liaison with the
Disability Awareness Task Force; and
WHEREAS, Sue Sucher served as the Human Relations
Commission representative to the Comprehensive Plan Advisory
Committee and in this capacity provided valuable input to the
Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and kept the Human Relations
Commission updated on this community process; and
WHEREAS, through her compassionate insight and productive
time management skills, Sue Sucher assisted the Commission with her
well -respected ability to crystallize discussions into their purest
form; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and
thank Sue Sucher for her personal commitment to the community and
interest in the City of Palo Alto and for her personal efforts and
dedication as a member of the Human Relations Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Sue Sucher
for her faithful and excellent service rendered to the C.&_ty.
