RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO KATHY VEJTASA
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Kathy Vejtasa has served the City of Palo Alto
as an original member of the Utilities Advisory Commission from
August 7, 1991, to May 3, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Kathy Vejtasa has been a significant contributor
and has provided expertise from her professional background to the
Commission; and
WHEREAS, through Kathy Vejtasa's efforts as a member of
the Utilities Advisory Commission in conjunction with the other
Commissioners appointed by the Palo Alto City Council, the
Utilities Advisory Commission has become an integral part of the
City government; and _
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and
thank Kathy Vejtasa for her personal commitment to the community
and interest in the City of Palo Alto and for her personal efforts
and dedication as a member of the Utilities Advisory Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Kathy Vejtasa
for her faithful and excellent service rendered to the City.
