RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO PAUL GRIMSRUD
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Paul Grimsrud served the City of Palo Alto as an
original member of the Utilities Advisory Commission from
August 1991 through June 1996; and
WHEREAS, Paul Grimsrud gave selflessly of his time and
talent to the Utilities Advisory Commission, including service as
Chair and Vice Chair; and
WHEREAS, Paul Grimsrud provided expertise to the City of
Palo Alto from his professional background in the area of
utilities; and
WHEREAS, Paul Grimsrud's tireless efforts as an original
member of the Utilities Advisory Commission have significantly
contributed to the Commission's, success as an integral part of the
City government; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and
thank Paul Grimsrud for his personal commitment to and interest in
the community and for his personal efforts and dedication as a
member of the Utilities Advisory Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Paul Grimsrud
for his faithfu] and excellent service rendered to the City.
