RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO BILL CAMPBELL
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Bill Campbell has served the City of
from September 12, 1962, through February 25, 2000,
Equipment Operator-Lead, Heavy Equipment Operator,
Operator, and Maintenance Man; and
Palo Alto
as Heavy
Equipment
WHEREAS, Bill Campbell has enhanced the quality of life
for the citizens of this community through the paving of streets,
cleaning of storm drains, repair of sidewalks, and sweeping of
streets; and
WHEREAS, Bill Campbell, in his many years of service, has
taken part in repairs of over three million square feet of roadway;
and
WHEREAS, Bill
guidance and support to
Department; and
Campbell has provided his expertise,
fellow employees in the Public Works
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
meritorious service of Bill Campbell.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of
Bill Campbell and records its appreciation as well as the
appreciation of the citizens of this community for the service and
contribution rendered during his 37 years of employment with the
City.
