RESOLUTION 6740
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO VIRGINIA LEE
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
THE PALO ALTO HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Virginia Lee has served the City of Palo Al to as a
member of the Palo Alto Human Relations Commission from January, 1979
to March, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Lee has been an active member of the Palo Alto
Human Relations Commission; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Lee has unselfishly contributed her time,
energy and knowledge to improve the quality of life for all Senior
citizens .: . · Palo Al to, to advoc<.;. te for the creation of affordable
housing in Palo Alto, for her commitment to the youth of Palo Alto,
and for her compassion and dedication to the population in Palo Alto
who are homeless; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and thank
Virginia Lee for her personal commitment to the community and for her
efforts and substantial dedication as a member of this Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the
Palo ~lto hereby gratefully records and extends its
appreciation and the appreciation of the community to Virginia
her faithful and excellent service rendered to the City.
