RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ?ALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO LINDA K. SCOTT
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
ORIGINAL
THE AD HOC COMMITTEE ON SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE ZONING AND DESIGN
WHEREAS, Linda K. Scott has served the City of Palo Alto as a member
of the Ad Hoc Cona1ttee on Single-fa11ily Residence Zoning and Design from July
20, 1987 to April 4, 1988;
WHEREAS, Linda K. Scott has been an active member of the •R-1 Ad Hoc•
Comittee;
WHEREAS, Linda K. Scott has unselfishly contributed her expertise as
a designer of sinqle-family homes, conveyed her appreciation and understanding
of the need to preserve ?.nd define neighborhood character, shared her optimism
on the future of ?alo Alto's single-family neig~borhoods, and fully
participated in the significant contributions of the Coanittee;
WHEREAS, the City of Pale Alto wishes to acknowledge and thank
Linda IC Scott. for her personal coaaitment to the c011DUnity and ir.,terest in
the single-family neighborhoods and for her personal efforts and substantial
dedication as a mem!:>er of this COtlllittee; and
NOii, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere apprec~ation and
the appreciation of the c011AUnity to Linda K. Scott for her faithful and
excellent service rendered to the City.
