RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO JON SCHINK FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
ORIGl"NAL
THE AD HOC CotttlTTEE ON SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE ZONING AND DESIGN
WHEREAS, Jon Schink has served the City of Palo Alto as a member of
the Ad Hoc Coanf ttee on Single-Family Residence Zoning and Design from July
20, 1987 to April 4, 1988;
WHEREAS, Jon Schink has been an active member of the •R-1 Ad Hoc"
Committee;
WHEREAS, Jon Schink has unselfishly contributed his expert knowledge
of single-family design and construction practices, explained the market
considerations which effect the development of single-family housing, shared
his optimism on the future of Palo Alto's single-family neighborhoods~ and
fully participated in the significant contributions of the C0111Dittee;
WHEREAS. the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and thank Jon
Schink for his personal connitment to the comnunity and interest in the
single-faaily neighborhoods and for hts personal efforts and substantial
dedication as a llellber of this Ca.1ittee; and
#Oii, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere appreciation and
the appreciation of the cOlllllUnity to Jon Schink for his fa;thful and excellent
service rendered to the City.
