RESOLUTION Of THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO EVELYNN L. OOONE
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
ORIGINAL
THE AD HOC COfottITTEE ON SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE ZONING AND DESIGN
WHEREAS, Evelynn L. Doone has served the City of Palo Alto as a
member of the Ad Hoc Coranittee on Single-Family Residence Zoning and Design
from July 20, 1987 to April 4, 1988;
WHEREAS, Evelynn L. Doone has been an active member of the •R-1 Ad
Hoc• COllll'littee;
WHEREAS, Evelynn L. Doone has unselfishly contrib11ted her design
expertise, conveyed her understan~ing of the issues related to single-family
residential remodeling, shared her optimism on the future of Palo Alto's
single-family neighborhoods, and fully participated in the significant
contributions of the COll111ttee;
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge as'ld thank
Evelynn L. Doone for her personal conmibnent to the con11unity and interest in
the single-family neighborhoods and for her personal efforts and substantial
dedication as a member of this C011111ittee; and
NOii, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends 1ts sincere appreciation and
the appreciation of the ca.unity to Evelynn L. Doone for her faithful and
excellent service rendered to the City.
