RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATIO~ TO THE
1986-87 PALO ALTO YOUTH COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Hilary Adler, Sally Barry, Samantha Baskind, Jacob
Bricca, Adam Brownstein, Alexandra Dumas, Christopher Ferris, Karen
Gibbs, Elizabeth Heilman, Jonathan Herzenberg, Beth Holzer, Jennifer
Jcu1g 1 Vivian Lin, Daniel Nyser, Bry Sanders, Pam Thagard, and David
Warren have served as members of the Palo Alto Youth Council from June
1986 to June 19Q7: and
WHEREAS, members of the Palo Alto Youth council have contributed
their time and energy toward representing Palo Alto youth as members
of the Youth Council1 and
WHEREAS, members of the Palo Alto Youth Council during their
term have created and participated in successfu~ programs such as the
Safer1de Prograi.., Youth Festival, Youth Counselir~g Project, What• s Up
Line, Vortex Nights, Counseling Pamphlets, Middle School Video, Pizza
Feast, and continuous support of youth activities in Palo Alto; and
WHI. lEAS, members of the Palo Alto Youth Co1.ncil through their
dedication and commitment represented the ideas and voices of the
youth of Palo Alto: and
WHEREAS, members of the Palo Al to Youth Cou11c il spent many week-
nights (previously tagged for studying o:r-earning significant wages)
planning, publicizing, and producing many qu:slity events for fellow
Palo Alto students.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto does hereby honor ~ilary Adl~r, Sally Barr.y, Samantha
Baskind, Jacob Bricca, Adam Brownstein, Alexandra Dumas, Christopher
Ferris, Karen Gibbs, Elizabeth Heilman, Jonathaa Re~zenberg, Beth
Holzer, Jenni fer .Jang, Vivian Lin, Dani .... J. Nyser, Bry Sand.: rs, Pam
Thagard, and David Warren and acknowledges appreciati...>n for their
inany contricutions to the City of Palo Alto during their term as
members of the Palo Alto Youth Council.
